Every season can be a perfect time to cleanse toxins from the deep tissues of the body as well as to give the body a deep emotional cleanse. According to Ayurveda, digestive toxins, or ama, as well as environmental toxins are stored in the body’s fat cells, as they are fat-soluble. In one study, 14 major toxic chemicals – all of which are fat-soluble – were detoxed out of the fat cells during the cleansing process . The aim of Ayurveda is to ensure good health for a healthy individual and to cure the disease for a diseased individual. In both the cases, Panchakarma detoxification is necessary to cleanse out the Doshas (TOXINS) at regular intervals.

The herbs used in the production of Ayurvedic medicine are very nutritive, with great healing properties. The herbal treatments of Ayurveda work wonderfully together and are widely encouraged as an efficient and inexpensive alternative to drugs.

Ayurvedic medicines prepared from herbs have no known side effects, with each aromatic and flavourful herb having its own unique medicinal properties. Ayurvedic therapies are perfect for promoting balance between the mind and spirit. They effectively defend against various diseases and infections; also promote rapid recovery and encourage good health and longevity.

The aim of Ayurveda is achieving perfect balance between both internal and external features, rather than focusing on the curing of diseases. The herbal therapies promote internal harmony between various body parts, in addition to encouraging harmony with nature and the environment. Ayurvedic therapies aim to rejuvenate the entire system rather than focusing on any specific organ.
